It's time for us to share a truth many MMO players aren't aware of The truth is that all DPS players are sharks. If you're wondering how many DPS seem to be addicted to the sound of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for just a minute means the players will die. They must continue swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to the sharks of the world. There is no need to inquire how a shark can type or play the game. The rogue who doesn't wait for the tank, healer, or any other DPS cannot help but to do what he does. He's an animal.
One of the Massively staff members might be a shark, however I'm not able to confirm nor confirm or deny it. Perhaps they will be revealing his or her status in this week's WRUP. Or maybe it's simply our usual roundup of our plans for the weekend. We won't know until you've read the next section. However you can let us know by leaving a comment below about what you're doing.
@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. It's a great single-player game, and is definitely one of my favorite games. For MMORPGs I'm testing the MMO potential of Minecraft I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be taking part in some action in Neverwinter which I believe is one of the best-looking and -sounding MMOs available right now.
@nbrianna It's going to be enjoyable!
@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently occupying my side game slot, and though there are many aspects that I'm still not satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond SYSTEM32.INFO , there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to participate in, which is why that will be my main concentration.
@Sypster I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'll likely try some more scenarios from The Secret World, and maybe even play some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters are raving about these days.
@mvmatt: I have a weekend plan that includes schoolwork, soup and, if I'm lucky some video games. I'll likely be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I stopped playing it (and reflect on the amazing things that almost forced me to stay) before the servers go down next month. Apart from that, I'd really like to get some time in with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World, both of which I've been neglecting for a while. Maybe perhaps, I'll cap some fools in Battlefield 4.
@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'll be looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited once more.
@MJ_Guthrie - I plan to concentrate most my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) trying to do more in the battle against Filth in The Secret World. I am a sucker for the pet and bee suit so badly that I don't know how to collect enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When not engaged in that, I will be playing a scenario or two, and testing new builds. I will also be spending the weekend trying out various races to become my new Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Once I have that, I will only require 30 hours to tweak the look. The name is only the beginning.
@RichieProcopio: This weekend, I'll be intoxicated and hallucinating. No I'm not going to the frat house, but I'll be paying the tower of dreams a visit in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine allies have been doing in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!
Every weekend, we get together with Massively staff members to ask them "What are your favorite games?" (Otherwise known as WRUP!) Join us to find out what we're up to both in and out of the game. You can also join us in the comments to let us know the games you're playing!
